Our Mission 

MTSS Education Career Services department is committed to assist our students and graduate professionals for job search and career growth.  Our goal is to prepare them them for a successful placement assistance in their chosen field.  This is achieved by offering career counseling, resume writing, interview skills, internship opportunities where applicable, and training for using correct job search tools and techniques.

Overview 

The Career Services department at MTSS Education maintain and develop links with the range of organizations providing appropriate hiring opportunities for graduates, including IT and staffing companies. We assist in the provision and dissemination of information about the destinations of those who have completed their studies at MTSS Education. We continue to be the main provider of choice of careers education, information, and guidance within MTSS Education.  

Process 

When students register to complete a program at MTSS Education, they attend an orientation.  During the orientation students are provided a brief overview of the Career Services procedures and the assistance MTSS Education offers.   

Our Career Service department meets with students to review their individual career expectations in addition to the student’s desired work location(s).  Our Career Services department encourages all graduates to register to take their certification exams where applicable. 

The next step of Career Services is to follow-up with students through phone and email contacts. As we receive job requisitions from our network, we reach out to them to discuss their availability and possible interest in each specific position.  In addition to our network contacts, we also set up “Job Alerts” on several job board sites and receive alerts we can forward to available candidates for their review and application. MTSS Education maintains affiliations with top staffing agenciesand recruiting agents who assist and forward possible job openings to our graduate students.

Having the proper resources to conduct a successful job search can make a big difference.  MTSS Education offers a variety of career resources and tools to our students and graduates.  Although appointments are not required, students are encouraged to make an appointment with a Career Services counselor to ensure all students may avail themselves of the services we offer.  Some of the assistance and services students can expect to receive:

What MTSS Education Does Not Offer 

The Career Services at MTSS Education are fully committed to assist our students in finding the right job for their future growth. However, our career service department do not act as an employment agency.  Procuring a position depends on the student’s performance and the will of the hiring employer.  Many Employers consider person’s attitude, education, work background, communication skills, and other intangible factors when determining employment. No representative of MTSS Education promises employment or a specific starting salary.
